Yogita Bhayana is a Internationally recognised Women's Activist, who fights for RAPE victims. She speaks against state institutions and workplaces that fail to act. Her campaign is widely against Violence and abuse of women in Communities, Institutions, Homes and Public spaces. She chooses advocacy tools, like public petitions, pressure on Police, rallying legislature, aggressive Media campaigns for helping Women in Distress. Indian women opt for silence in existing Social mores. So her Teams reach out, Train Communities, Workplaces, Women, Men & Stakeholders on Safety and dignity of life. So that Women are not muzzled with fear. Yogita has created a Nationwide Volunteer and Journalist network, her struggle is changing the way Society Treats Rape Victims. Societal Norms have blamed Victims for provoking Sexual abuse, until now.
The Air of doubt and 'blaming Victims', fear of livelihood dilutes many a case. Locks the women's ability to lodge formal Police Complaints, reach out to Managements in Institutions/workplaces. So that no women stays mute to Sexual abuse in Institutions and Workplaces, the Government of India, enacted the POSH; [PREVENTION OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT] Act which is a Forum of enquiry and action. The public campaign and activism experience of more than a Decade makes YOGITA BHAYANA an asset to IIC's or Sexual Harassment Committees that investigate Sexual misconduct at work.
A Twin pronged experience of Advocacy and Trainings places her as a National expert. Her dexterity is in getting to the bottom of Complex Institutional Sexual Harassment enquiries. She served on the EXPERT COMMITTEE of the NCW (National Commission of Women) on Gender and Education. She Also served as VICE CHAIRPERSON of the Uttrakhand Government's State Council for Women Empowerment.
She is a valuable resource to INTERNATIONAL COMPLAINT COMMITEES, taking her astute grasp in dealing abuse cases over Ten years. The Delhi High Court and Delhi State Service Authority, enlisted her to their INTERNATIONAL COMPLAINT COMMITTEES. She has been awarded more than 50 Prestigious honours for her work Nationally and Globally. In June of 2022, she got NOMINATED FOR THE INTERNATIONAL INTERNATIONAL PEACE AWARD 2022 by IMC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
